Pool Fence is specifically designed to provide a safety barrier around residential swimming pools for toddlers and young children. These fences were installed in sections for the convenience of easy removal and reinstallation of the homeowners.

Since swimming pools, spas and hot tubs are becoming more frequent in the backyards of homes across the state of America while very enjoyable to the users, these places are also very alluring to young children. As a pool owner, you have a serious responsibility to keep your pool as safe as possible, 24 hours a day and everyday of the year and the only way to achieve this goal is that we need protection like installing pool fence against unsupervised children that is paramount in avoiding a household disaster.

Pool fence is a type of fence placed around the backyard swimming pools that is commonly used to improved pool safety and then to prevent small children or pets for accidentally falling into the pool and drowning. You have to be sure to closely examine local and national building and safety codes and zoning requirements and building permits to ensure that you meet all important fencing necessities for your pool. Pool fence should be low to the ground and be tall enough and offer little space to hinder anyone from getting through. Pool fence should always be kept in good condition, have high locks or handles that are appropriately at an inaccessible height for children and that shut and latch automatically. Nothing should be placed or built on near the fence that will be able to assist someone in climbing over.

There are different types of pool fencing that are utilized depending on the budget of the pool owners and each kind offers its own advantages and disadvantages. There are permanent fences that are popular in wood, vinyl, aluminum, and wrought iron. There are also chain link fences that are often made of steel and are popular in their practicality. And to ensure the pool safety and protection, some people prefer to choose the more expensive fencing option having the brick or stonewall constructed on their pool area. One of the popular fencing options is the removable fence offered in different colors. These removable fences that are mounted in fiberglass or aluminum framing system are usually made from a crystal clear mesh material or aluminum meshing.

To enclose your pool and some added pool gates, you have to buy these removable fences in individual sections and to be more effective, they need to fasten securely to the decking and mostly use either holes in the deck or fasteners. According to government statistics drowning is the no.1 cause of accidental deaths among children under the age of 5 and swimming lessons for children are not enough to protect them because it does not guarantee that they are water safe. Having a pool fence is a proven method of safeguarding our pool from unauthorized access by our children and pets. It can be easily installed by a homeowner and can be easily removed.

A decision of a having a pool fence for your swimming pool is wise and responsible move because drowning can occur in as little as three seconds. Adult supervision is still the most effective method to ensure the safety of our children and toddlers but pool fence provides an additional layer of protection between a precious child and a pool in our backyard. Drowning is one accident that we have a choice of preventing it so why wait for a disaster to make a responsible move, safety should always be the first on our list at all times.
